E-MAIL: Purchasing Agent, marino@volpe.dot.gov. The Volpe Center plans
to procure sole source through Simplified Acquisition procedures from
Applied Research Associates, Inc., Albuquerque, NM, to develop a new

refine the existing detailed Finite Element (FE) model. The two models
will be used to evaluate vehicle performance, occupant safety and
fleet compatibility in four categories of impact situations. The
contractor will be required to provide qualified personnel, facilities,
materials, and services to develop and validate a simplified model for
full frontal, frontal offset (driver's side), frontal oblique

used as a testbed for the validation cases. Small Business firms
