The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, VA and Indian Head Division, Indian Head, MD (both rural locations), have a requirement to provide Mess Attendant Services at the Douglas T. Gray III General Mess (Dahlgren) and Potomac Gardens (Indian Head) and assignment of Desk Clerks at the Bachelor's Quarters (CBQ) at the Dahlgren Division, and Indian Head Division. Mess attendance Services include preparation (Dahlgren only) and serving of meals, cashier services, sanitation and custodial services, management and quality control of services provided. Indian Head Division requires a CBQ Operations Specialist to assist the CBQ Officer in the comprehensive management and administration of CBQ Operations. Assignment Desk Clerk tasking includes: operation of a billeting reservation service, registration and check-out of all personnel, collection and deposit of fees, provision of message service, and maintenance of records and report submission. The period of performance is planned for 01 October 1999 through 30 September 2000 with four additional option years (through 30 September 2004). This proposed procurement is an 8(a) Competitive Set Aside requirement. All responsible and certified 8(a) firms with appropriate SIC Code approval may submit a proposal for consideration. SIC code 5812 applies, the size standard for which is $15.0 million. This solicitation is subject to the Service Contract Act, area: DC, District-Wide.
