E-MAIL: Teresa Michals, teresa.michals@gsa.gov. This solicitation consists of seven NSNs for Fire Extinguishers, one NSN for Dry Chemical for Fire Extinguishers, and one NSN for Smoke Detectors. The fire extinguishers shall be in accordance with Commercial Item Description (CID) A-A-393A dtd 10/2/96, and Standard UL 154, 8th edition. The dry chemical for fire extinguishers shall be ammonium dihydrogen phosphate with requirements set forth in the item description. The smoke detector shall be a photoelectric type, residential, with 9v ALKALINE battery, solid state, in compliance with UL 217. This is for a requirements-type contract with FOB Destination to GSA Warehouse Distribution Facilities located in NJ, GA, TX, and CA. Inspection is at source. Material Safety Data Sheets required. Marking, Bar Coding, and Palletization is required. Trade Agreements Act applies. Solicitation to be issued under Full and Open Competition.
