The purpose of this amendment to solicitation DAJA22-99-R-0024: 1. Re-establish the required delivery date of the items being purchased to 30 days after the date of award in lieu of 30 April 1999. 2. Remind offerors that the heaters required must be operable using petroleum, kerosene and diesel. The air hose must be at a minimum 3,000mm in length. Flue gas analyzing sets, insulated air ducts and storage racks for the ducts, 5 gallon fuel cans and dry powder fire extinguishers must be included within the offerors proposal. Alternate proposals must include a detailed explanation of how the product fulfills the requirements of the schedule of supplies and specifications. 3. Incorporate clause at FAR 52.215-5 Facsimile Proposals (Oct 1997). In addition, the following information applies: Only one contract will be awarded from this solicitation. Award will be made on an all or none basis. Offers less than all of the solicited supplies or services will be rejected as non-conforming and unacceptable to the solicitation. 4. All other terms and conditions remain as previously stated. 5. Contractors are requested to submit their revised proposals on or before 14 May 1999. This amendment must be acknowledged, signed and returned to this office. Offerors must state that their prior offer is still valid or submit a new offer. Offers are due 1400, Central European Time.
