This is a pre-solicitation conference invitation prepared by the Electronic Systems Center Global Air Traffic Operations/Mobility Command and Control (GATO/MC2) Systems Program Office (SPO) for the procurement of Multi-Mode Receivers (MMR), MMR Upgrade Kits, High Frequency Data Radios (HFDR), HFDR Upgrade Kits, and associated services (GATM III). A Draft Request for Proposal was electronically submitted on the Hanscom Electronic RFP Bulletin Board (HERBB) www.herbb.hanscom.af.mil/rfp.asp on 23 Apr 99 and the GA website http://ga.hanscom.af.mil/gatcommon/WhatsHot.htm on 28 Apr 99. Industry is encouraged to review the Draft RFP and provide comments on any aspect of the document. The preferred method to submit comments is electronically to 1Lt. Kevin Hobbs at hobbsk@hanscom.af.mil. Responses to industry comments, as they are available, and a pre-solicitation conference briefing will be posted to the HERBB and GA websites. Comments need to be submitted no later than close of business 18 May 99. The conference will be conducted on Tuesday 11 May 99 at Hanscom AFB MA, Building 1612, First Floor -- O'Neil Auditorium at 0900 EST. Attendance is limited to three (3) individuals from each prospective source. Prospective sources should contact 1Lt. The purpose of the pre-solicitation conference is to promote a clear understanding of the Government's GATM III requirements and to clarify any questions on the Draft RFP package.
