N00019-97-C-0037 and N00019-97-C-0038, which were competetively awarded to The Boeing Company, Information, Space & Defense Systems, P.O. Box 3707, Mail Stop 4C-80, Seattle, WA 98124-2207 and Lockheed Martin Corporation, Tactical Aircraft Systems, P.O. Box 748, Fort Worth, TX 76101, respectively. These modifications are necessary in order to facilitate the defining and reconciliation of the Preferred Weapon System Concept (PWSC) propulsion system, the EMD development program, and the EMD business approach. Specifically, these modifications will define how the P&W F119 and the GEAE F120 engines will be developed to seamlessly interface with a set of common lift and exhaust system components and support system.
