E-MAIL: Dana Kurtz, kurtzd.lg@usafa.af.mil. This is a request for quote on F0561199T1022. Y2K Compliance Upgrade for Wastewater Treatment Plant, USAF Academy, Colorado. A qualified programmer shall perform the work and furnish equipment in accordance specific requirements and general conditions of the specifications. The contractor shall furnish all tools, labor, test equipment; hardware and materials needed to install Contractor Furnished Equipment (CFE) and be fully prepared to replace non-Y2K compliant systems, software and automated control/process equipment. The contractor must be an ABB Instrumentation authorized installation representative trained in the proper installation and testing procedure of all existing equipment. They also must be authorized to assemble and fully test all installed equipment. As a minimum the following must be provide; all equipment, software and process controls must be Y2K compliant, a listing of all equipment checked and verified for Y2K compliance, diagrams and sketches indicating locations and applicability ensuring Y2K compliance, hard copies of all computer programs including manufacturer warranties and licenses, original copies of all vendor/commercial of the shelf (COTS) software including Y2K certification certificates, and system flow diagrams illustrating software designed to control processes of the plant. This contract period shall extend for 30 days and all work shall be performed in accordance with (IAW) the Year 2000 Information and Readiness Disclosure Act and statement of work. This requirement is to ensure equipment is upgraded and compliant before the Y2K deadline of 4 June 1999. No telephone requests for this solicitation will be allowed. However, all interested parties may identify their product by submitting pricing data, an accurate description of the equipment offered and make and model numbers of the equipment. Only responses containing this data will be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct and or equal competitive procurement.
