J -- SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE SOL 51-9-6611 POC Pamela Miller (301)457-3547 The Bureau of the Census intends to issue a sole source contract to Veritas Software, 1600 Plymouth Street, Mountain View, CA to provide yearly maintenance on the following software licenses: Database Edition for Oracle HA license for department servers, and Database Edition for Oracle/Symmetric HA license for enterprise. The maintenance consists of premier direct assist support, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, a toll free support line, problem solving, problem tracking, bug reporting, clarification of documentation, patches and fixes and new releases and versions. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to the requirement to the reqirement no greater than 15 days from the published date of the announcement to the above address. The determination by the government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to tis notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurements.
