supplies and services necessary for the AN/APQ-158 Service Life
Extension Program. The contractor shall develop replacement Shop
Replaceable Units (SRUs) for the Radar Antenna-Receiver (P/N 2964749-1)
and Programmer Power Supply (P/N 2060001-3) to eliminate obsolete or
not readily procurable components. The contractor shall redesign the
following SRUs: Aximuth Gearbox Assy (P/N 2964659-1); Aximuth Servo
Amplifier (P/N 605247-2); Branched Wiring Harness Assy (P/N 746577-1);
& Antenna-Receiver Test Panel (P/N 608526-2). Option to develop
replacements for Radar Fault Locator Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) (P/N
600093-1) & Ku-Band Magnetron SRU (P/N 578805-1). The Service Life
Extension Program will consist of two phases: the Engineering and
Manufacturing Development Phase for design modification and testing of
proof-of-concept prototype hardware; and the Production & Deployment
Phase for production of modification kits to support field

or services will satisfy agency requirements. All potential offerors

information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this
acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contacting
officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that
are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the
Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or
contracting officer, but communicate serious contractor concerns,
issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate
government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain
strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman
does not participate in the evaluation of proposals in the source
