Q -- PHYSICAL EXAMS FOR SPOUSES AND CHILDREN OF PERSIAN GULF WAR (PGW) VETERANS SOL 558-69-99 POC Pamela Evans, (919) 286-6921 The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 508 Fulton Street, Durham, North Carolina intends to procure services of a Contractor to perform complete physical examinations for Spouses and Children of Persian Gulf War (PGW) Veterans. The proposed Contractor will be required to familiarize themselves with the information included in the "Physicians' Guide to Persian Gulf Veterans' Illnesses" prepared by the Office of Public Health Environmental Hazards prior to examining participants. This guide includes current information concerning the symptoms and illnesses being repored in PGW Veterans, their Spouses and Children. Performance will be for one year with options to renew for additional years if mandated. Physicians must be board certified with all of the proper credentials required to meet the medical needs of the participants. Copies of the solicitation will be available on or about May 7, 1999.
