The Defense Distribution Center located in New Cumberland and Mechanicsburg, PA has a requirement for the establishment of an Indefinite Delivery Purchase Order (IDPO) to provide interpreter services for approximately thirty (30) deaf and hearing impaired employees. The Government, under normal situations and to the extent possible, will request interpreter services by telephone at least two (2) working days prior to the scheduled appointment. In the case of an emergency situation, the Government will request interpreter services as soon as possible. Contract period will be from 1 July 1999 through 30 June 2000 with two (2) option year periods. Contractor must be capable of accepting payment for services by Government IMPAC Visa Card or by Government issued Delivery Order. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code for this acquisition is 7389. The small business size standard is $5.0 million. All responsible small business concernsmay submit a quotation which shall be considered by this agency. This requirement is being processed in accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
