Patricia Wright, Contracting Officer (301) 827-7163 The Food and Drug
Administration (FDA) intends to award a Purchase order on a sole
source basis for a twelve (12) month period to Growth Dynamics, Inc.,
6701 Democracy Boulevard, Bethesda, Maryland 20817. Growth Dynamics
will provide the following services: a) Work closely with the Director,
Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition (CFSAN) and the FDA
Leadership Team in conducting organizational assessments to identify
issues and needs and improve work processes that are within the
established priorities. b) Conduct individual consultations and joint
sessions with the leadership/management to ensure a continued smooth
transition in aligning the organization. c) Train managers and
supervisors to embrace, as well as to lead and to coach those working
with them while facilitating changes within the organization. d) Work
with and train employees at all levels in interpersonal communications,
continuous quality improvement, reorganizing, empowerment to improve
work procedures, and self-directed work groups/teams. e) Consult with
and train the organization on improving the work environment. f)
Provide written monthly progress reports which clearly indicate all
activities and time spent on each, accomplishments to date, and
problems encountered and with actions taken to rectify them or proposed
solutions for solving them. g) Provide a final report with compilation
of activities under the contract, and pertinent data collected
throughout the project, and necessary backup material. Growth Dynamics
has provided FDA with its expertise and have played a major role in
bridging the transition period. Growth Dynamics has conducted a number
of retreats and working sessions to focus on leadership changes and
impact on each individual and the organization as a whole, decision
making processes, teamwork and the establishment of priorities. They
facilitated discussions that resulted in CFSAN organizational
realignment. Growth Dynamics has invested its resources and time in
becoming familiar with the goals and intentions of the new Center
organization realignment. It is beneficial to the organization to
continue to work with Growth Dynamics. It has the in-depth knowledge of
what has taken place and idea of what the organization wishes to
achieve in the future. An award will be made fifteen (15) days from
date of this notice. This is not a request for quotes; however, sources
may submit their capabilities which shall be considered by the agency.
