PAINT OVERSPRAY ARRESTORS -- MANUFACTURERS MEETING There will be a meeting on 5/20/99 for the Paint Overspray Arrestor (POA) Technical Panel and Manufacturers under EPA's Environmental Technology Verification (ETV) Program for Air Pollution Control Technology. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss what was learned during Round 1 and to make plans for Round 2 testing. The POA Technical Panel met for the first time on 5/5/98. On 12/2/98, a meeting was held with POA manufacturers interested in participating in Round 1 testing. That Round 1 testing of POA is now complete. For Round 2, all interested POA manufacturers are invited to submit one arrestor each for testing. The goal of ETV is to verify the performance characteristics of commercial ready environmental technologies so that potential purchasers and permitters are provided with an independent and credible assessment of the technology they are buying or permitting.
