Phone 208-387-5760; Fax 208-387-5780 Contractor will be required to be certificated under 14 CFR, Part 133, Rotorcraft External-Load Operations and Part 135, Air Taxi Operators & Commercial Operators. Furnish flight services fully contractor operated and maintained consisting of light turbine and/or reciprocating engine helicopters in support of Bureau of Land Management wild horse/burro program requirements. Location of work will be predominantly in varying central locations within the eleven western states. The Government expects to make multiple awards in order that an adequate number of sources will be in place to assure aircraft availability when needs arise. Award of a contract does not guarantee each awardee will be utilized. Contractor selection for specific projects will be in accordance with the ordering procedures identified in the solicitation. Resultant contracts will be an on call contract to extend for a one year period beginning approximately 7/1/99 through 6/30/2000 with options to renew for 2 additional years. TheGovernments initial bidders list for this solicitation will consist of companies known to the Government to provide wild horse/burro services. If you believe you may not be on this list and are interested and have the capability to provide this type of aircraft service, you should submit a written request for the solicitation to the Office of Aircraft Services contracting office. No further CBD notices will be issued concerning BLM wild horse/burro requirements during the duration of performance identified in the solicitation. All expected BLM individual projects for this program will be fulfilled through the awards expected as a result of this RFP.
