consists of designing, furnishing, and installing an elevated steel
tank; enlarging existing yard for the tank; and furnishing and
installing steel pipe associated with the tank. Phase 1 work may be
done anytime within the performance period through the date of March
31, 2000 Phase 2 work consists of replacing adjustable speed drives;
replacing 3 each 250 hp motors with 4 each 160 hp motors; and replacing
an existing steel manifold. Also removing existing hydropneumatic tank
and piping; and furnishing and installing piping to the new tank. Also
furnishing and installing various electrical components such as
grounding system, conduit, conductors, 5 kV cable, 5 kV motor controls,
other various electrical components. Also furnishing and installing
power factor correction capacitors; and government furnished
programmable logic controller. Also relocating existing electrical
equipment; opening then closing temporary hole in building wall; and
constructing a flowmeter vault. Phase 2 work may only be done in the
non-irrigation season from approximately October 31 through March
31,2000. Estimated price range of job falls in the step between
$500,000 and $1,000,000. Bid, performance, and payment bonds will be
required. Work is under SIC Code 1629 (and also is under NAICS Code
23493). Contract performance to be completed not later than March 31,
2000. All responsible sources may submit bids which will be considered
for award. A site visit is planned on June 2, 1999. Parties interested
in observing the work site should meet no later than 9:00 am at the
Farmington Construction Office, 300 West Arrington, Suite 50,
