The solicitation will be issued on 05 May 99 and offers will be due no later than 3:00 PM, local time, on 21 May 99. This solicitation will be acquired under Small Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The magnitude of this project is $25,000.00 to $100,000.00 with a performance period of 45 calendar days. The work will consist of upgrading the water system, to include the replacement of pumps, pipes, valves and restoring to the water supply system. Remove and replace the 3-inch suction piping and valves, and the air relief valves on top of the storage tanks. Remove and dispose the existing hydrostatic tank in its entirety, the compressor, air relief controller, the existing booster pump, and the fire pump and two pumps in the Plant 1, K-2 EW. Furnish and install a new digital pump controller, two 120-gallon air bladder tanks and the site glass and isolation valveson the storage tanks. The contractor shall test the completed system prior to final inspection and acceptance by the Government.
