It is the Government's intent to make a sole source award to Technical Communication Corporation. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, a Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition has been certified, justified and approved. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is DEA-99-R- 0031; award will be made using simplified acquisition procedures. The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the FAR Circular 97-11. The standard industrial classification code(SIC) is 3661 and the small business size is 1000. The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is seeking to procure the following line items: Line Item 0001: Model 3600S Telephone Security Device w/5 handset modules. Quantity: 5 each. Line Item 0002: Model 3600F Telephone Security Device w/5 handset modules. Quantity: 17 each. Line Item 0003: Shipping (if applicable). The provision at 52.212-1, "Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial items" is applicable to this acquisition. The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications- Commercial Items, is applicable to this acquisition. The clause at FAR 52.212.4, "Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items is applicable to this acquisition.
