The Naval Air Systems Command, Naval Air Warfare Center-Aircraft Division intends to procure 175 Litton Industries Image Intensifier Tubes (IITs) in accordance with DSMAC Source Control Drawing P/N:70A187220-1007 Rev F and Engineering Change Notice BFN-493, with 3 options for purchase of 100 each IITs per option. This solicitation will be issued approximately 21 May 99, to Litton Industries, 1215 S. 52nd Street, Tempe AZ 85281. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a), and under an approved Justification and Approval. SIC Code 3812 applies. A firm fixed price contract with fixed price options is anticipated. The Navy intends to release the Request for Proposal via Internet.
