intended for wear by the men and women cadets at the United States Air
Force Academy. Shirts shall be manufactured from polyester/cotton
material (65/35, USAF Blue Shade 1550. The contractor shall furnish all
material. Each shirt shall be manufactured in accordance with Purchase
Descriptions AESC 84-1B, AESC 83-8A, and MIL-S-87225A (USAF), to
include Amendments and Letters of Exceptions. The appropriate Purchase
Descriptions, Amendments and Letters of Exceptions will be provided
with the solicitation. The resultant contractor shall be certified for
each applicable garment, at the time of proposal submittal, by the
Department of the Air Force, Human Systems Center (AFMC), Air Force
Clothing Division, 2255 Monahan Way, Attn: HSC/YAG, Wright Patterson
AFB, 45433-7009. Interested contractors not certified may obtain
information for certification approval from HSC, Ms Gina Rice (937)
255-6073. Only proposals with current certification numbers for each
garment will be accepted. The proposed contract will be a firm fixed
price requirements contract with a basic period from the date of award
through a (not more than) 12-month basic contract period, plus 4
one-year options. Estimated yearly quantities (to include fill-in
orders) are: Men's Long Sleeve -- 3300 ea; Women's Long Sleeve -- 648
ea; Men's Short Sleeve -- 5502 ea; Women's Short Sleeve -- 402 ea. Each
woman's shirt shall include a neck-tab. Bar Code 39 labels shall be
required. Exact quantities and sizes will be provided after contract
award by issuance of a delivery order. First articles for men's and
women style (long and short sleeve shirt) shall be required within 30
days after contract award, if item has not been furnished by the
successful offeror within the previous 5 years. All deliveries shall be
FOB Destination, USAF Academy CO not later than 30 Apr of each delivery
year for the short sleeve shirts. Request for Proposal F0561199R0505
