small quantities of 25mm Objective Crew Served Weapon (OCSW) warheads
using selected steels and process variations. These warheads will be
provided to the Government for fragmentation testing. The contractor
shall forge and machine, conforming to drawing, using the follow- ing
alloys and heat treatments: a. AISI 9260 -- as forged and tempered b.
AISI 9260 -- normalized and tempered c. AISI 9260 -- austenitized, oil
quenched and tempered d. AISI 9260 -- intermediate austenitized, oil
quenched and tempered e. AISI 1340 -- as-forged and tempered f. AISI
1340 -- austenitized, oil quenched and tempered g. AISI 1340 --
intermediate austenitized, oil quenched and tempered h. AISI 1340 --
cold worked and stress relieved i. AISI 1090 -- austenitized, oil
quench and temper j. AISI 1090 -- austenitized, water quench and temper
k. AISI 4340 -- as-forged and temper l. AISI 4340 -- normalized and
temper m. HF-1 -- high temperature austenitized, air cool and temper
