G -- RESIDENTIAL NON-SECURE JUVENILE FACILITY SERVICES SOL RFP 200-0505-W DUE 080599 POC Leah Wilson, Contracting Officer, (202) 307-3070 Sources having the ability to provide (LINE ITEM #1) residential non-secure juvenile facility services in EITHER the Phoenix, Arizona area OR the Flagstaff, Arizona area for juvenile Federal offenders and sources having the ability to provide (LINE ITEM #2) residential non-secure juvenile facility services in the Tucson, Arizona area for juvenile Federal offenders. The juvenile offenders are held under the authority of various United States Statutes. Two Firm-Fixed-Price Requirements type contracts are anticipated. Each contract is anticipated to last for a total of five years. The five years consist of a two-year Base Period and three one-year option periods. An estimated 10 juvenile offenders will require services each year under each contract. Services for each Base Period will be performed from June 1, 2000 through May 31, 2002. Services for the option periods will be performed from June 1, 2002 through May 31, 2005. The services required for the five-year contracts include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, to include furnishing of subsistence and medical services, except the expense of hospital, surgical, prescriptions, and dental treatment. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' "Non-Secure Contract Juvenile Facility" Statement of Work.
