DESIGN NORTH PEPCO SUBSTATION, NIH CAMPUS, BETHESDA, MARYLAND It is the intent of the National Institutes of Health to award a sole source contract to PEPCO to provide structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering design services for the preparation of construction documents for the North PEPCO substation. The A/E contractor shall provide a design to include plans, specifications, cost estimates, and calculations necessary for a construction contract to building the NIH, North sub-station. The design shall be prepared in accordance with PEPCO standard distribution substation design and the applicable provisions of the NIH architectural and engineering design policy guidelines. The final design shall meet all NIH design guidelines, NFPA, BOCA, UBC, ANSI State of Maryland and Montgomery County building code requirements.
