or (FAX 202-776-8775) The American Embassy Port-of-Spain has a
requirement for an individual to provide training on engine repair for
the Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard. The contractor shall conduct
hands-on training fot the Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard in the
performance of a Top-End Overhaul of Paxman-Valenta 16RP200 Diesel
Engines in accordance with manufacturer's specifications. In addition
to the overhaul training, hands on training for cylinder inspection is
also required, 3 cylinders per engine shall be used as examples.
Contractor's personnel shall arrive on-site after the Trinidad and
Tobago Coast Guard has removed the cylinder heads and de-carbonized the
engines. All interferences will have been removed by the TTCG.
Contracted personnel will remain on site for a period of three weeks.
Training will be conducted six days per week for ten hours per day.
Sundays will not be work days. Hotel and rental car arrangements will
be made by the U.S. Embassy. IMPORTANT: The solicitation is contained
