transportation and supervision require to work on the 625' guyed tower
located at the USCG Loran Support Unit, Wildwood, NJ. All replaced
materials shall be removed from USCG property and properly disposed of
by the contractor. Work includes but is not limited to: 1) Replace all
30 existing structural guys on the 625' tower and adjust tension on
guys. Existing turnbuckles, fiberglass insulator rods and yoke plates
may be reused; 2) Apply sealer coat to the 60 existing fiberglass
insulator rods installed on the structural guys; 3) clean and paint the
30 existing outer yoke plates attached to the insulator rods; 4)
excavate the 12 existing anchor channels to the water tableand inspect
for rust and deterioratoin. Coat channels with an asphalt product and
backfill; 5) replace all 24 of the dead end grips installed on the top
loaded elements. Retention the 24 existing top loaded elements; 6)
repaint portions of the tower obstruction markings; 7) coat all
turnbuckles and anchor hardware with NO-OX-ID grease; 8) perform an
engineering inspection of the 625' guyed antenna tower; 9) replace
primary and standby lamps in all obstruction lights and beacons on the
625' tower; 10) generate an inspection report. Performance Period 120
DANTP. SIC Code 1799. Estimated Range $25K -- $100K. A Bid Bond is

Bid Opening date will be o/a 6/21/99. This procurement is open to both
large and small businesses in accordance with the Small Business
Demonstration Act. However, FAR Clause 52.219-23 Notice of Price
Adjustment for Small Disadvantaged Business Concerns and 52.219-4
Notice of Price Evaluation for HUBZone Small Business Concerns may be
applicable (This clause allows a price adjustment factor for small
disadvantaged business concerns. SIC Codes and their appropriate
