This is a Market Survey to locate potential sources to supply the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Veterinary Services (VS), Ames, Iowa with chicken eggs and chicks. Currently the Government does not have an estimate of quantities needed, however, the last requirment issued was for 416 dozen five-day embryonated chicken eggs, 936 dozen six-day embryonated chicken eggs, 6240 dozen eight-day embryonated chicken eggs, 7020 dozen nine-day embryonated chicken eggs, 1040 dozen ten-day embryonated chicken eggs, 72 dozen fertile chicken eggs and 3276 dozen 1-day old chickens.
