Tokasz, 410-997-6214 The United States Postal Service is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for demolition of existing access control system and installation of new system at three (3) separate locations: Lancaster Processing & Distribution Center, 1400 Harrisburg Pike, Lancaster, PA 17604-9992; Reading Processing & Distribution Center, 2100 N. 13th Street, Reading PA 19612-9992; and Southeastern Processing & Distribution Center, 1000 West Valley Road, Southeastern, PA 19399-9992 (Devon PA). Please call the Manager at each location for a site visit before visiting the office. Total project completion must be accomplished within the specified 150 days performance period. If any facility will not be 100% complete by December 31, 1999, the contractor shall provide security, at no cost to the U. S. Postal Service, for the facility in question in the form of, but not limited to, a third party door watchman company and a building security plan that is acceptable to the Contracting Officer and the U. S. Postal Service Inspection Service. A separate cost breakdown sheet must be developed for each location. Cost is estimated between $850,000 and $900,000 for all three locations. Award will be based on proposal considered most advantageous to the United States Postal Service.
