This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The only approved source for this solicitation is Rolls-Royce Allison FSCM: 63005. Solicitation F41608-99-Q-46051 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Contract line item 0001 is for 21EA of Compressor Case (NSN 2840-01-216-8046RW, P/N 23006940). Size/Dimensions: Approximately 16.5 In. length x 6.5 in. in diameter; Form/Fit/Function Description: The accessory drive housing provides a mounting surface for the B2 accessories on the T56 engine and is mounted to the compressor inlet case. Predominant Material of Manufacture: Magnesium overall. Materiel is to be delivered to Kelly AFB, TX(FB2059) as follows: 21EA -- 30 Apr 2000. Acceptance and FOB are at origin. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items also applies to this acquisition. Qualifications requirements are in accordance with Commercial procedures.
