Z -- CONSTRUCT MHE FACILITY Construct Covered MHE Facility The project consists essentially of, but is not limited to, the construction of a pre-engineered building 132_ x 202_ with an eave height of 30_. Two 2 personnel doors are included. The structure will be built over an existing 125_ x 185_ slab on grade, which shall be enlarged under this project. Associated work includes cutting and patching of the existing pavement and the installation of a storm drain system for the building roof drainage. The project also includes the installation of electrical equipment and lighting. Coiling doors will not be provided under this contract; however, provisions are made to accommodate future door installations. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal and is issued on an unrestricted basis to all firms registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1791. All responsive offerors will be considered by the agency. The contract performance period is 240 calendar days. The project magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000. This solicitation contains 2 option items. Availability of funds will determine the number of options to be awarded, if any. The entire solicitation, including specifications and drawings, will be made available only on the Electronic Posting System (EPS) Web Site at http://www.eps.gov.
