(trade-in) and/or sell four (4) gas powered 27 foot Seasport charter
fishing vessels, one (1) diesel powered 27 foot Seasport charter
fishing vessel and one (1) 40 foot charger fishing vessel to acquire
one (1) larger fishing vessel. The vessels being offered for
exchange/sale are described as follows: the four (4) gas powered 27
foot Seasports are built of molded fiber reinforced plastic resin. The
vessels have a chain locker in the bow, followed aft by a v-berth. Aft
of the v-berth on the starboard side is the helm station with engine
controls and gauges and electronics. Further aft on the starboard side
is a bench seat and refrigerator. Across on the port side aft of the
v-berth is a settee that converts to a double bunk. The engine
compartment lays on the after deck and is accessible through hatches on
the aft deck. Engine is described as follows: Two (2) Volvo Penta Q151B
main engines, rebuilt in 1997; Volvo Penta 290 reduction gear; Seawater
heat exchanger cooling; Gauges include VDO Water Temperature, Oil
Pressure, Volt Meter, Tachometer; Hour meter; Engine Controls are Volvo
Cable; Steering System is Teleflex Hydraulic; 12 Volt mechanical
ventilation; Wet Thru Outdrive exhaust; Fuel lines are USCG approved
neoprene; fuel filter is Raco. The navigational electronics include 3"
Airguide compass; Magellan Meridan XL GPS; Apelco 460 Fishfinder depth
sounders; Standard Horizon Eclipse communication; One (1) NAPA Group 27
Marine, One (1) Alaska Polar battery, Two (2) Prestolite 51 Amp
alternators; The electrical system is factory installed marine grade
cable with breaker panel. Safety equipment includes the following: Rule
2000 GPH bilge pump; Size 11 Type A Fire extinguisher located in the
main cabin; 3 Orion smoke flares; and standard size industrial first
aid kit; Miscellaneous items are described as follows: Two (2) 60
gallon aluminum fuel tanks; 40 gallon water tank; Jabsco water pump; 15
pound Danforth 20' 3/8" chain 30' 3/8" nylon rope ground tackle; AM/FM
cassette; Norcold ice box refrigeration; single stainless steel sink;
port pottie; heat is heat exchanger off the engine with window
defroster; E-Z Loader 7000 pound tandem axle trailer. The diesel 27
foot Seasport is built of molded fiber reinforced plastic resin. The

Volvo cable; Steering system is Teleflex Hydraulic;j 12 Volt
mechanical ventilation; Wet Thru Outdrive exhaust; Fuel lines are USCG
approved neoprene; fuel filter is RACO. The navigational electronics
include: 3" Airguide compass; Magellan Meridan XL GPS; Apelco 460
Fishfinder depth sounders; Standard Horizon Eclipse communication; and
Furuno Mark V 16 mile radar. One (1) NAPA Group 27 Marine, One (1)
Alaska Polar battery; Two (2) Prestolite 51 Amp alternators; the
electrical system is factory installed marine grade cable with breaker
panel. Safety equipment includes the following: Rule 2000 GPH bilge
pump; Size 11 Type A Fire extinguisher located in the main cabin; Three
(3) Orion smoke flares; and standard size industrial first aid kit.
Miscellaneous items are described as follows: One (1) eight man IBA;
Two (2) 60 gallon aluminum fuel tanks; 40 gallon water tank; Jabsco
water pump; 15 pound Danforth 20' 3/8" chain 300' 3/8" nylon rope
ground tackle; AM/FM cassette; Norcold ice box refrigeration; single
stainless steel sink; porta pottie; heat is heat exchanger off the
engine with window defroster; E-Z Loader 7000 pound tandem axle
trailer. The 40 foot vessel is described as follows: One (1) 25 ton 40
foot 22 person aluminum Coast Guard certified charter fishing vessel.
Chain locker in the bow along with an anchor winch and reel; Aft of
the v-berth on the starboard side is the helm station with engine
controls and gauges and electronics. Electronics include Furuno radar,
compass, Echotec depth sounder, Apelco depth sounder; Echotec GPS with
monitor, Apelco VHF radio, Standard VHF radio, Standard loud hailer.
Engines lay mid ship and are accessible through three hatches. Engines
are tow (2) 8V-71 diesels with twin disk reduction, one rebuilt in
1997 and one rebuilt in 1998. Engine controls are cable and steering is
hydraulic telefex. Fuel lines are USCG approved neoprene; fuel filter
is RACO. Miscellaneous items are described as follows: Two (2) 200
gallon tanks, 40 gallon water tank; stainless steel sink; head with
holding tank; water pump; Danforth anchor with 3/8" anchor rope, 25
person life raft. As part of the exchange j(trade-in) and/or sale, the
Government wants to acquire a larger charter fishing vessel. This
vessel is described as follows: Must be USCG certified and have current
marine survey inspection; must be 40 feet or longer; the beam must be
10 -- 16 feet; twin propellers; twin diesel engines minimum of 600
horse power; covered pilot house and cabin area that would comfortably
seat 14 -- 25 passengers; walk around fishing deck; freeboard 2-5
feet; and a fiberglass hull. Requests for the complete solicitation
