Army Research Lab (ARL) plans to expand its capability in thermal imaging. One of the readout suppliers to ARL's FPAs is Rockwell International and in order to fully utilize the readout's capability and sensitivity, this Infrared Camera System is required. It's the Government's intention to award this requirement on a sole source basis to Infrared Laboratories, Tucson, AZ. Infrared Laboratories has worked with Rockwell in constructing dewar systems that are specifically designed for Rockwell's readout. Infrared Laboratories expertise in minimizing the electrical interference to the readout is critical to the ARL's success in demonstrating high sensitive imaging detector arrays.
