The work consists of plantation surveys on approximately 4,600 acres. Work includes conducting regeneration stocking surveys on previously planted units and collecting and summarizing stocking survey data from plots examined within unestablished or recently established conifer plantations. This survey data will be used to determine the adequacy of coniferous stocking, interfering conditions to survival and growth, vegetative trends, and presence of permanent nonproductive land within each survey unit. Slopes on the survey units will vary from gentle (10%) to very steep (80%). This contract includes an option that allows for increased quantities not to exceed fifty percent (50%) of the total contract price. Project sites are located in Josephine, Douglas, and Curry Counties, Glendale Resource Area, Medford District, Oregon. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered.
