The Dahlgren Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Synetics Corporation, 540 Edgewater Drive, Wakefield, MA 01880, an increase in ceiling of contract number N60921-94-D-A320 and an extension in the period of performance through 31 December 1999. The increased ceiling and extension will provide coverage to enable the completion of development efforts which are in process under the contract. The increase will also permit a smoother transition of the work which has customarily been performed under contract number N60921-94-D-A320 to the recently awarded successor contract. The increased effort is for Software and Systems Engineering of Combat Systems, Weapon Control Systems, Information Systems, and Navy Battle Force Systems to include Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) Program and the Shipboard Gridlock System (SGS) Program. NOTE 22 applies. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren Laboratory Procurement Division is implementing Electronic commerce (EC) in the acquisition area, therefore synopsis and resulting solicitations with any applicable amendments will be available on the World Wide Web at http://www.nswc.navy.mil/supply under Procurement Division.
