The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire through other than full and open competition Women's Health Services for eligible beneficiaries in the Lemoore, CA area in support of the Naval Hospital, Lemoore. These services will be obtained on a sole source basis through modification to the existing contract with the incumbent contractor, Coastal Government Services, Inc. in order to provide continuity of services until the commencement of services under the contract resulting from solicitation N00140-99-R-9303. The Women's Health Services include providing inpatient Obstetrical and Gynecological care, performing Obstetrical and Gynecological procedures, providing outpatient Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialty Clinics and providing emergency consultation and treatment. The contractor shall maintain all professional, administrative and support staff in adequate numbers, on a 24 hour 7 days per week basis, to assure quality prenatal care, childbirth services, excluding high risk pregnancies. Women's health services, including medical, nursing, administrative services on a regular schedule from 0730 hours to 1630 hours on Monday through Friday, throughout the term of this contract for eligible beneficiaries. Emergency OB/GYN services may be required at any time during the day or the night, including holidays, and are to be provided on an on-call basis, 24 hours, 7 days a week. Care will be provided for a base period of one month beginning on 1 September 1999 with three options, each for one month. The applicable standard industrial code (SIC) is 8011, size standard $5M.
