as your advance notice. Be sure to register, as instructed herein, to
obtain the project and any amendments. Furnish material labor and
equipment to fabricate a diesel powered work boat and a barge for lock
maintenance work. The boat shall be a minimum of 700 horsepower, 22'
x 52'x 7'6" with the deckhouse aft and a marine rated crane forward.
The barge shall be flush deck 125' x 36' x 7'. Both vessels shall be
designed and built per ABS standards but not classed. Delivery shall be
FOB Destination, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Lock and Dam 53, 916 E.
Dam 53 Road, Grand Chain, Illinois 62941. Delivery shall be no later
than 15 September 2000. This acquisition is restricted to small
business. SIC code is 3731. Estimated value over $500,000. This will be
a Continuing Funds contract. Solicitation Number DACW27-99-B-0022

of bids will be approximately 29 June 1999 at 2:00 p.m. (local time).
