Washington, DC with the assistance of the Federal Highway Administration, is currently conducting a study to identify the highway maintenance needs along its portion of the NHS. The goal is to institute a contract for all or a portion of the maintenance activities along the NHS to a potential maintenance management contractor(s). Washington, DC desires input from potential contractors on the information needs, feasible strategies, and issues in meeting this goal. A formal presentation will be conducted with a follow-up period for questions.
