Z -- RENOVATE UNISEX RESTROOM FACILITY SOL RAQ990013 DUE 062899 POC Kay Ryan, 208-387-5717 The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) at the National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC) has a requirement to renovate a unisex restroom facility into a women's facility and a men's facility in Building #410A on the NIFC complex located in Boise, Ada County, Idaho. Work shall consist of: (a) partial demolition of existing partitions, (b) removal of existing plumbing fixtures, (c) removal of certain existing acoustical panel ceilings, (d) trenching of existing concrete slabs for installation of new sewer and floor drain work, (e) installation of new partitions, new plumbing fixtures, new toilet partitions, new lavatory counters, new insulation, new acoustical panel ceilings, new wainscot, new wood doors and metal frames, and new sheet vinyl flooring, (f) installation of certain new ductwork and exhaust fans and new floor drains, and (g) installation of new and relocation of certain existing light fixtures and miscellaneous other electrical works. The existing exterior and interior walls are 8" concrete block.The approximate size of the area to be remodeled is 350 square yards and will include three new water closets and one urinal. All work shall be completed within 60 calendar days. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside and SIC 1542, General Contractors -- Nonresidential Buildings, Other Than Industrial Buildings and Warehouses applies. The small business size standard is $17.0 million for the past three fiscal years. Simplified acquisition procedures will be used for award and Davis-Bacon labor rates apply.
