The Army requires a contract for the furnishing of all plant, labor, materials and equipment, and performing all work required in connection with Air Conditioning and Heating repairs in Building 19102, Fort Stewart, Georgia. Work includes but is not necessarily restricted to: replacing multizone air handling unit and hot water and direct expansion (DX) refrigerant piping/valves; replacing nominal 40 ton, air-cooled condensing unit; replacing nominal 7-1/2 ton, split-system heat pump and fan coil unit; installing direct digital controls(DDC) and new thermostats and control wiring; modifying return air and installing new return ductwork and grilles; installing motorized dampers and additional supply diffusers; replacing suspended acoustical ceiling tiles/grid to install ductwork; performing electrical work for the new equipment, HVAC control panel, and actuators; and performing testing, adjusting, and balancing of the HVAC systems.
