The Defense Distribution Depot Red River (DDRT) located at Red River Army Depot, Texarkana, TX has a requirement for a contractor to provide all equipment, material, control components and engineering necessary to install and make operational a Track Shoe Preservation System. The function of the track shoe preservation system is to transport track shoe bundles by inbound accumulating conveyor to dip tank, apply government-furnished P-1 preservative/solvent mix to material, dwell, dry material, and transport material to outbound conveyor lines to be shipped. A manual system consisting of conveyor, dip tank, bridge crane and staging racks with drip pan is also part of this project. Also included in the project is a compressed air system. The Government requires final acceptance of the complete system within 120 days following the date of contract award.
