Hydrophones purchased asa part of the Onboard Data Acquisition System (ODAS) shall be capable of sensing underwater acoustic noise and producing analog electric signals in accordance with the performance, physical and environmental requirements as outlined in the specifications. Each hydrophone shall consist of a single molded package containing the piezoelectric element(s) and signal conditioning electronics/preamplifier.
