Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM), Fort Monmouth, NJ to
include the Research, Development and Engineering Center (RDEC) and the
Logistics Readiness Center, and the U.S. Army Information Systems
Engineering Command (USAISEC), Fort Huachuca, AZ, will provide a
contract vehicle that will enable the Government to fulfill its mission
of exploring new technologies related to the research and development
of Night Vision, Electro-Optical, Electronic Sensors, Countermine and
Survivability systems, Command, Control and Communications systems, and
Information and Intelligence Warfare systems. This New Technologies
Omnibus Contract will serve this cause by providing services in
scientific and exploratory studies, research, investigations, training
and technical support for CECOM and USAISEC worldwide. The New
Technologies Omnibus contract is a Historically Black
Colleges/Universities and Minority Institutions (HBCU/MI) set-aside.
The Government contemplates awarding multiple contracts from the
solicitation. The proposed Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity,
Time and Material Level of Effort contract(s) will be for a basic one
(1) year period with a maximum of four (4) one (1) year option periods.
