outpatient assessment and counseling services for substance abuse
treatment for male and female Federal offenders in the Lubbock, Texas
area, held under the authority of various United States Statutes. A
firm-fixed Price Requirements type contract with a two year base period
and three one-year option years is anticipated. Services for the base
period is October 1, 1999 through September 30, 2001 shall include
services for 40 inmates as follows: intake assessment (one per inmate),
individual counseling (96 half-hour sessions per inmate), group
counseling (96 half-hour sessions per inmate) and family counseling (8
half-hour sessions per inmate). Services for option years one, two and
three shall include services for 20 inmates as follows: intake
assessment (one per inmate), individual counseling (48 half-hour
sessions per inmate) group counseling (48 half-hour sessions per
inmate) and gamily counseling (4 half-hour sessions per inmate),
respectively. Options will be October 1, 2001 through September 30,
2004. All services shall be performed in accordance with the Statement
of Work, entitled "Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) Substance
Abuse Treatment" dated May 1999. Proper licensing in the State of
Texas is required. The estimated issue date is May 28, 1999. The
estimated closing date is June 28, 1999. All responsible sources may
submit a proposal which shall be considered by this agency. No collect
