The contemplated contract is a continuation of an ongoing program between the NAS and AFRRI. NAS manages the administration of the program, establishes standards, solicits and screens applicants, identifies exceptional candidates and selects post-doctoral scientists to serve an one year associateship with an option to renew. Scientists selected for this program shall conduct scientific research in line with the mission and will be required to submit research proposals and research reports.
