Kenton, Contracting Officer (913) 684-2971 / 2972 The contractor shall provide all necessary qualified personnel, supervision, management, and non-personal technical services to support the mission requirements of the National Simulation Center (NSC). The contractor shall be required to provide a staff capable of operating in nine specialized areas; software functionality testing, computer operations, simulations training, simulations testing, exercise support, TACSIM/JSTARS/MUSE operations, systems analysis, simulations functional evaluations, and management support services. This requirement includes design/development of instructional material; assistance in conducting simulation exercises using the following software programs: JANUS/UCCATS, TACSIM, SIMNET, BBS, CBS, ALSP Confederation of Models and other FAMSIM software programs. Further, the contractor shall provide technical support subject matter experts for battalion, brigade, division, and corps simulation-based training; system testing to integrate new hardware, software, firmware into the Family of Simulations (FAMSIM); analysis of strategic, tactical, and training missions; develop briefings, demonstrations, and staff papers for the national Simulation Center (NSC) at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. An indefinite quantity-type contract is anticipated for a base period with four one-year option periods. Services are classified under SIC 7379. Size standard is 18.0M.
