Smith, Contract Specialist, (202) 324-5820 The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate a sole source firm-fixed price indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for one (1) base year plus four (4) additional option years with Commuter Benefit Program, c/o FSMC, 451 Lakeview Street, Lake Lillian, MN., to provide a subsidy of up to $21.00 per month of Transitchek farecards to participating FBI employees commuting within the Philadelphia area. Each participating individual will be issued a farecard, if they use an eligible method of transportation. Based on market research conducted, it has been determined that Commuter Benefit Program is the only source that fully meets the FBI's requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within ten (10) calendar days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. This contract will be awarded as a commercial item under Simplified Acquisition Procedures authorized by the Test Program. TheStandard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 4111, and the size standard is $5 million dollars. Interested persons wishing to respond to this notice must submit proof the ability to provide farecards in accordance with the FBI's requirements as stated above Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
