Chapman,(202) 942-4994 The Securities and Exchange Commission(SEC)has
a requirement for a company to provide comprehensive travel and
logistical support for Newly Independent States (NIS)participants
taking part in the 1999 NIS/CEE Enforcement Training Program to be held
May 24, 1999 through May 28, 1999. The selected contractor will obtain
visas, purchase tickets, provide per diem and other related services
in accordance with United States Agency for International
Development(USAID) regulations. Vendor shall be a USAID designated
in-county service provider for NIS countries. Vendor shall have USAID
authority to process J-1 visas and adminster USAID required language
and medical tests. The SEC has determined that the Academy for
Educational Development, 1255 23rd St., NW, 4th Floor, Washington, DC
20037 is the only USAID authorized provider of these services.
Accordingly, the SEC intends to obtain these services from AED. See
