Work consists of providing all labor, supplies, materials, supervision, transportation, equipment, and all else necessary to remove an estimated quantity of 300,00 SF of runway rubber and to repaint an estimated quantity of 330,000 SF of reflective pavement markings. This will be a firm fixed price construction contract with 80 calendar days construction performance time. This solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis in accordance with the DFARS clause 252.219-7008. The estimated dollar value of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The successful contractor will be selected using performance/price tradeoff procedures, resulting in the Best Value to the Government. Performance is significantly more important than price. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low proposed price. Offers shall submit proposals that are accepted solely on the basis of the initial offer as the Government may proceed with award of a contract without further discussion.
