The work to be accomplished under this solicitation consists of repairning approximately 600 feet of channel slopes; constructing approximately 75 linear feet of trash racks for a pump station and repairing approximately 120 linear feet of levee. The channel slope repairs will be accomplished by excavating the failure surface and reconstructing the channel slope using a combination of rockfill, sand and geotextile. The levee repairs will consist of constructing a timber wakefield bulkhead with soldier pile supports along the face, a double row of walers, and pile pole deadmen with tie backs. the bulkhead will be constructed using new creosote treated timber and pole piles. One site will have installed approximately 80 linear feet of cantilevered steel sheet piling for a pump station canal. All disturbed areas will be vegetated. All work will be accomplished in Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana. The performace time for this project is 61 calendar days.
