synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item = prepared=20 in accordance
with the format in FAR part 12.6, as supplemented with = additional=20
information included in this notice. This is a commercial item =
acquisition=20 using FAR Part 12 and the special simplified acquisition
procedures for = the=20 acquisition of supplies as set forth in FAR
Part 13.500. The = solicitation=20 document and incorporated provisions
and clauses are those in effect = through=20 Federal Acquisition
Circular 97-11. FAR 52.212-1 (Instructions to = Offerors =96=20
Commercial Items) is applicable. NOTE: Your attention is specifically
= drawn=20 to Paragraph (b) 11 of this clause. A statement complying
with this = paragraph=20 must be included with the quote. It is advised
that a completed copy = of the=20 provisions at FAR 52.212-3 (Offeror
Representations and=20 Certifications=97Commercial Items) and DFARS
252.212-7000 (Offeror=20 Representations and
Certifications=97Commercial Items) be included with = the=20 quote. FAR
52.212-4 (Contract Terms and Conditions=97Commercial Items) = is=20
applicable. FAR 52.212-5 (Contract Terms and Conditions Required to =

the following = specifications: 1. Three 1.3" diagonal TFT polysilicon
active matrix LCD panels with = striped=20 pixel configuration 2.
Wireless mouse control system (PS/2,serial, ADB) with a built in =
laser=20 pointer 3. 900 ANSI lumens brightens; 200:1 contrast ratio 4.
700 scan doubled TV lines resolution; 1024 dot X 768 lines 5.
SXGA/XGA/SVGA/VGA/Macintosh computer compatibility 6. Intelligent image
ACE resizing technology for high quality SXGA = 1280X1024=20
compression and SVGA/VGA expansion 7. 1:1.6X manual zoom/focus lens
capable of projecting 30" to 300" = diagonal=20 screen image 8. 120
watt, long life, user replaceable UHP bulb 9. Portable projection
devices shall weigh no more than 14.6 pounds = and be=20 suitable for
fixed ceiling mounting. Additionally it will have an = integrated=20
handle designed into the unit. Additionally, the projector shall come
= with a=20 soft carrying case. 10. The projector shall incorporate an
international 110-240 VAC 50/60 = Hz=20 (universal type) power supply,
and utilize a detachable commercial = 3-wire=20 (grounded) AC line
cord. 11. Inputs: projector shall have Composite Video (RCA), S-video
(Y/C, = 4 pin=20 din); three stereo audio [RCA type L/R X 2), 3.5 mm

connection for use with standard IBM PS/2 = and PC=20 compatible
computers and graphics cards (including SXGA, SGA, SVGA, and = VGA)
as=20 well as Apple Macintosh, Quandra, powerbook, power PC, and Mac

displays for projector setup and confirmation of = remote=20 control
operation. 22. 3 year limited parts/labor limited service including the
entire = unit=20 except the bulb, Navy pays for shipping cost to
company with company = paying for=20 shipping of unit back to the Navy.
23. The UIIP projection lamp shall be warranted for 90 days. 24.
Pre-staging service: each projector must be unpacked, tested, =
frequency=20 set and phasing for two computersources (provide by
COMNAVAIRESFOR) = that will=20 be used at each location. Memory setting
will be complete upon = delivery to end=20 user. Systems will be
repacked and shipped with the following: = connectivity=20 diagrams,
help numbers, CBT training program, and all necessary user=20
documentation. 25. Vendor will provide a single POC with a 1-800
trouble/assistance = number=20 for the duration of the three year
warranty. 26. After setup =96 systems must be dropped shipped to end
user as = provided by=20 CNARF. 27. Company must provide written
followup survey for all projectors = within 30=20 days of dleivery to
end user. 28. Company will provide loaner equipment upon shipping
confirmation = of broken=20 systems that are under and still covered
under the three year warranty. 29. Company must have all portable
systems configured for LAPTOP = Computer=20 provided by CNARF and
delivered within NLT 30 days after contract is = awarded. 30. Big Shot
screen magnification software on CD-ROM to be indluded = with each=20
projector. 31. 9=92 RGB Signal Cable, Macintosh Adapter, 4 "AA"
batteries, 12=92 = three-wire=20 grounded AC line cord, computer
communication cable for RS-232C and = wireless=20 mouse; PS/2 and ADB
mouse adapter, 3.5mm stereo mini cable and extra = air filter. 32.
Vendor must coordinate factory rep provided on-site training for =
each=20 command receiving the projectors within 20 days of delivery.
Training = to=20 include a checklist as well as verification of
training signed by = vendor and=20 end user. 33. Vendor must include
all costs associated with this project. All=20 equipment, software for
equipment, training, freight, fuel, lodging = expenses=20 (required
onsite warranty services) must be included with the quoted = price. 34.
The projector shall be UL approved, conform to FCC Class A, and =
include a=20 commercial 3-wire grounded AC line cord. Delivery is
required within 30 days of receipt of order. Place of = delivery is=20
to Commander Naval Air Reserve Force New Orleans, LA. Quotes are =
