EC DAY & AFEI SUMMER SYMPOSIUM The Joint Electronic Commerce Program Office (JECPO) and the Association for Enterprise Integration (AFEI) present EC Day and the AFEI Summer Symposium. Electronic Business in ACTION-the theme for EC Day 1999-highlights the use of commercial EC technologies to improve the way the DoD supports the Warfighter, Industry Trading Partners and Business Functions. See firsthand how DoD is keeping pace with industry in adopting emerging technologies for enterprise-wide secure business transactions via electronic means. EC Day will feature the best in modern, widely accessible technology and the Department's commitment to integrating electronic commerce into every facet of the DoD's business. This three day conference will include the AFEI Summer Symposium on June 9 and 11, and EC Day on June 10. EC Day will consist of a general session and eight track sessions: Finance; Acquisition/Contracting; Technical Infrastructure; Information Assurance; Advanced Technologies; Personnel Support; and Logistics I and II.
