On or about 1 June 1999, this office will issue a 8a Small Disadvantaged Business Set-Aside Request for Proposal for Multiple Award Remediation Contracts (MARCs) which are Indefinite Delivery type contract(s) to perform remedial actions at hazardous waste sites within Northwestern Division geographical boundaries, EPA Region V, and all Air Combat Command Installations. Task Orders issued under the contract(s) will be Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursable, Incentive Fee, or Award Fee with Service or Davis-Bacon Act wages as applicable, depending on the type of project incorporated into each individual task order. The Task Orders may also include, but is not limited to, site characterization, interim actions, operation and maintenance, and any other actions related to site remediation at Hazardous, Toxic, and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) sites. The contractor will be required to furnish and transport all plant, labor, materials and equipment and to perform all work necessary to complete Task Orders. The contractor shall provide personnel with current training as required by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and other applicable training that may be necessary for work in HTRW situations. This solicitation is restricted to 8a Small Disadvantaged Business concerns. Standard Industrial Classification code for this solicitation is 8744 and the size standard is 500 employees. The Government may award up to three (3) IDT contracts for a cumulative total amount not to exceed $30 Million Dollars. There will be no limit on the amount or the number of Task Orders that may be issued against the contract(s). Each contract(s) issued shall have a basic performance period of two (2) years with one (1) option period of three (3) years. The solicitation shall be available through INTERNET ACCESS ONLY. All solicitation documents will be posted to the Omaha District's Advertised Solicitation web site. The web site address is: http://ebs.nwo.usace.army.mil/ebs/contract.htm. Amendments to the solicitation will be posted to the web site. It shall be the contractor's responsibility to check the web site for any amendments.
